1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you communicate with us, we may collect information that you provide directly, including:
- Contact and identity information, such as your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, company name, and job title.
- Inquiry and business relationship information, including requested parts, quantities, specifications, sourcing requirements, message content, and our correspondence with you.
- Newsletter information, including your email address, subscription preferences, consent record, and unsubscribe status.
- Any other information you choose to include in a message or communication with us.
We and our service providers may also receive limited technical information when you use the website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and security or delivery logs. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the website. Please do not include sensitive personal information in an inquiry unless it is necessary and you are legally permitted to provide it.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you when you use contact or RFQ functionality available at the time, subscribe to the newsletter, or communicate with us by email or telephone.
- Automatically through essential website, hosting, security, and form-delivery technologies.
- From your employer, colleague, business partner, or another lawful source when they ask us to communicate with you about a business inquiry.
3. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Review and respond to potential-customer RFQs, sourcing requests, and other business inquiries.
- Assess inquiries, prepare or discuss quotations, identify components, communicate availability, check sourcing feasibility, and follow up about potential business opportunities.
- Maintain business correspondence and customer, potential-customer, or supplier relationships.
- Send newsletters and industry updates when you have subscribed.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and form-delivery process.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
At the effective date, Witall's current business model does not involve selling personal information or using it for third-party targeted advertising.
Providing personal information is generally voluntary. However, if you do not provide required contact and inquiry details, we may be unable to review your request or respond with a quotation. At the effective date, website, newsletter, and inquiry information is not used to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal Bases For Processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:
- Your consent, including for newsletter subscriptions. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Steps requested by you before entering into a contract, or performance of a contract.
- Our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, operating and securing our website, maintaining business relationships, and preventing misuse, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
Where another law requires consent or another specific legal basis, the relevant processing is subject to that requirement.
6. RFQ And Contact Form Processing
The website's contact form is not currently connected to a submission backend. If and when it is enabled, we plan to transmit submissions through Alibaba Cloud Function Compute and deliver them to our designated business email using Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail or an equivalent approved mail-delivery configuration. The processing region, logging settings, retention settings, and applicable data-processing terms would depend on the final service configuration and legal requirements.
The form is intended only for potential customers to request a quotation or make another sourcing inquiry. It is not an order, payment, customer-account, credit-assessment, or automated approval system. Depending on the fields available at the time, we may collect a name, company, business contact details, requested part numbers, quantities, sourcing requirements, and message content. We use this information to assess the inquiry, prepare or discuss a quotation, check sourcing availability, and follow up about the potential business opportunity.
By default, we do not intend to maintain a separate website database of RFQ submissions. Copies may remain in business email systems, quotation records, backups, and legally required records. Any future CRM or separate RFQ database would be subject to the disclosures, terms, and legal requirements applicable at that time.
9. International Data Transfers
Witall operates internationally. Personal information may be accessed or processed in China, Australia, the United States, and other locations in which we, our service providers, or their subprocessors operate. Newsletter subscriber data is processed by Kit and may be processed in the locations identified in Kit's current Data Processing Addendum. The processing region and overseas recipients for any future Alibaba Cloud RFQ workflow would depend on the final service configuration. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Restricted international transfers are subject to any applicable transfer mechanism, assessment, notice, consent, or other safeguard. For personal information exported from China, applicable requirements may include a transfer mechanism and separate consent, unless an exception applies. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- RFQ and inquiry records may be retained for periods reasonably connected with responding, preparing quotations, managing a potential or active business relationship, and meeting legal, accounting, warranty, dispute, or record-keeping needs. Actual retention periods may vary according to the circumstances and applicable requirements.
- Newsletter subscriber data is retained in accordance with our Kit account settings and Kit's Data Processing Addendum. We retain active subscription information while a person remains subscribed and limited suppression records after unsubscribe where needed to honour that choice or comply with law.
- Technical and security logs may be retained according to the relevant service configuration, operational and security needs, incident response requirements, and applicable law. If an RFQ function is enabled, log content and retention would depend on the final configuration and provider settings.
- Contract, transaction, tax, accounting, and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
11. Data Security
Security measures vary according to the relevant system, provider, and circumstances and may include access controls, secure transmission where enabled, service-provider controls, account security, and limited access based on business need.
No method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive certain information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Opt out of direct marketing at any time.

Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR. Individuals in China may have rights under the Personal Information Protection Law, including rights to know, decide, restrict or refuse processing, access, copy, correct, and request deletion. Individuals in Australia may request access or correction and may make a privacy complaint. Residents of California and other US states may have additional rights where applicable, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain disclosures. Witall does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
